Pinch and a punch it’s the first of the month

Once again my referral statistics for last month showing the closest I can get to the relative popularity of the local blogs, see http://www.michaelsbookshop.com/flat1110/id3.htm

This isn’t supposed to be a post for my normal blog readers but is aimed at the other Thanet bloggers, so I don’t recommend reading it.

Looking at the statistics for the other blogs I write it would seem that this is now probably the most popular Thanet blog, in other words more traffic is coming from here than ECR to places like my press release blog.

Back in June Blogger started producing statistics so that people without the ability to set up statistics of their own could see how may people read their blog, this page shows a few snapshots from there http://www.michaelsbookshop.com/flat1110/index.htm

Needless to say these statistics are different to the ones I retrieve using a code embedded in the blog, in fact I think they may be a bit optimistic.

Comments, since I started writing this blog in 2007 the way the internet works has changed a lot, comments and dialogue here were once viable in an open and anonymous sense. Now if you comment here I will only allow the comment if it seems to make sense and be related to what the post is about. I link the majority of my posts to the main local Facebook groups and to my Facebook account, “Michael Child” I guess the main Ramsgate Facebook group is We Love Ramsgate. For the most part the comments and dialogue related to the posts here goes on there. As for the rest of it, well this blog handles images better than Facebook, which is why I don’t post directly to my Facebook account, although if I take a lot of photos I am so lazy that I paste them directly from my camera card to my bookshop website and put a link on this blog.
