Four year old Connor’s parents are Georgina and Wayne Olsen, he also has a younger brother called Kye. The family all live in Westgate-on-Sea, Kent.
The family only discovered that Connor has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) in March 2013.
DMD is a muscle wasting disease that will see Connor in a wheelchair by around 10 years old, it will result in death at a young age.

All the artworks offered for sale, have been kindly donated to the auction (mostly by the artists themselves).
All proceeds will go to the Caring for Connor Campaign.
All artwork can be viewed, during the day, at York Street Gallery on 27 and 28 February from 10 – 4, prior to the auction. The auction is due to begin at 7pm on 28 February 2014.
Due to the size of the venue, entry to the sale is strictly limited to persons buying a catalogue. The bearer will also be offered a glass of wine and light refreshments in Corby’s Tea Rooms (next door), where they will be asked to register and then be assigned a unique Bidder Number.

Comments, since I started writing this blog in 2007 the way the internet works has changed a lot, comments and dialogue here were once viable in an open and anonymous sense. Now if you comment here I will only allow the comment if it seems to make sense and be related to what the post is about. I link the majority of my posts to the main local Facebook groups and to my Facebook account, “Michael Child” I guess the main Ramsgate Facebook group is We Love Ramsgate. For the most part the comments and dialogue related to the posts here goes on there. As for the rest of it, well this blog handles images better than Facebook, which is why I don’t post directly to my Facebook account, although if I take a lot of photos I am so lazy that I paste them directly from my camera card to my bookshop website and put a link on this blog.
