Early morning perspective

Morning walk Ramsgate Harbour crosswall, the way being blocked by the gates being open I stopped for quick sketch.

OK what’s wrong here, my children can see that it’s wrong, but not why.

The vanishing point is around about where the red lines converge.

So it should look something like this.

It looks like the skyline looking at Ramsgate from the harbour is going to change a bit.

It’s not looking good on the computer front:

Windows XP is now unsupported and therefore no longer secure, my webstats tell me that about a quarter of the visitors to this site use Windows XP.

I also looks like the very software that was supposed to secure website passwords has had a hole in it for a couple of years, so we all need to change our passwords, but not too soon as the hole is probably still there on a lot of websites.

I am guessing (from my technical drawing at school) that you have drawn the shed with an isometric projection :-)

Comments, since I started writing this blog in 2007 the way the internet works has changed a lot, comments and dialogue here were once viable in an open and anonymous sense. Now if you comment here I will only allow the comment if it seems to make sense and be related to what the post is about. I link the majority of my posts to the main local Facebook groups and to my Facebook account, “Michael Child” I guess the main Ramsgate Facebook group is We Love Ramsgate. For the most part the comments and dialogue related to the posts here goes on there. As for the rest of it, well this blog handles images better than Facebook, which is why I don’t post directly to my Facebook account, although if I take a lot of photos I am so lazy that I paste them directly from my camera card to my bookshop website and put a link on this blog.
