Broadstairs sketch, shops open and close in Ramsgate.

Apologies here about the lack of blogging or anything else much, my bookshop is much busier than it usually is at this time of year, I put it down to a lack of alternatives on the shopping front. In terms of non food and clothes shopping there isn’t much else in teams of low priced reasonable quality shopping that is cheaper than the internet.
Something a bit UFOish about this sketch of Broadstairs, but then there is something about Broadstairs pier. What? Other worldly, I don’t know really, perhaps that something may happen there.
Note the giraffe in the middle of the picture
this was as closeup as I could get with my phone.
Phones 4u have gone, without some sort of shop where you can actually try new phones, or anything else for that matter, how would you try a few out with a view to changing makes?
and yes another shop opens in King Street, this makes every shop on that side, between Plains of Waterloo and the middle of the town let, apart from the one the council bought recently and want to turn into social housing.

More of a closeup
A few more pictures around Ramsgate

Comments, since I started writing this blog in 2007 the way the internet works has changed a lot, comments and dialogue here were once viable in an open and anonymous sense. Now if you comment here I will only allow the comment if it seems to make sense and be related to what the post is about. I link the majority of my posts to the main local Facebook groups and to my Facebook account, “Michael Child” I guess the main Ramsgate Facebook group is We Love Ramsgate. For the most part the comments and dialogue related to the posts here goes on there. As for the rest of it, well this blog handles images better than Facebook, which is why I don’t post directly to my Facebook account, although if I take a lot of photos I am so lazy that I paste them directly from my camera card to my bookshop website and put a link on this blog.
