Planning drama
Although Bill Hayton denied that it anything to do with the China Gateway, my immediate concern was that considerable pressure may be being applied to force through a project that could have dire consequences for the health of local people.
I am certainly hoping that now Bill Hayton is relived of his responsibilities and able to comment on local planning issues we will hear some forthright comments from him.

Comments, since I started writing this blog in 2007 the way the internet works has changed a lot, comments and dialogue here were once viable in an open and anonymous sense. Now if you comment here I will only allow the comment if it seems to make sense and be related to what the post is about. I link the majority of my posts to the main local Facebook groups and to my Facebook account, “Michael Child” I guess the main Ramsgate Facebook group is We Love Ramsgate. For the most part the comments and dialogue related to the posts here goes on there. As for the rest of it, well this blog handles images better than Facebook, which is why I don’t post directly to my Facebook account, although if I take a lot of photos I am so lazy that I paste them directly from my camera card to my bookshop website and put a link on this blog.
The problem here is that the Council Mafioso or Cabal will not allow any deviation from the cynical business oriemted path they have chosen. You need to look further into this matter and see who is the "Big Guy" behind the Cabinet with the push to get them on side. Believe me this project will get the go ahead it has already been decided and when it goes to full cabinet it will be approved. Once again the "square fellows" will have completed the circle and by the time the taxpayer has worked out that they have been duped,(Westwood Cross is a classic example) well it is too late. What is strange is that Cllr Gregory was originally elected as a Socialist, funny how things change when there is profit in the offing.
