Ramsgate Library Update.
6 comments:
Comments, since I started writing this blog in 2007 the way the internet works has changed a lot, comments and dialogue here were once viable in an open and anonymous sense. Now if you comment here I will only allow the comment if it seems to make sense and be related to what the post is about. I link the majority of my posts to the main local Facebook groups and to my Facebook account, “Michael Child” I guess the main Ramsgate Facebook group is We Love Ramsgate. For the most part the comments and dialogue related to the posts here goes on there. As for the rest of it, well this blog handles images better than Facebook, which is why I don’t post directly to my Facebook account, although if I take a lot of photos I am so lazy that I paste them directly from my camera card to my bookshop website and put a link on this blog.
The glass roof will be handy to view the planes as they fly at 600ft right above you as you read.
ReplyDeleteSMEG Peter it is looking as though the water issue is the main issue with the airport, Malcolm was just round here delivering a picture if himself in the nude to illustrate my next post on the mayoral petition and he pointed out that if we have an air crash and fuel spillage on the grass part of the airport, and fowl play is suspected or people are killed, the investigators wont let them use a digger on a potential crime scene.
ReplyDeleteLooks good - can't wait for it to open on 2nd February
ReplyDeleteNice to see the entrance restored with the little 'kiosk' and staircase.
ReplyDeleteSpent many an hour in the local history section in days gone by...
Apologies idiot that I am I forgot to add the text to the update, I have just done so.
ReplyDeletePeter, while you only mostly wish to share the flesh of Thanets female population with us, SMEG only has the airport in mind.
ReplyDeleteDedication, as Roy Castle once sung.....
