Four old pictures of Ramsgate, out and about with me and a bit of a phone fail.

First here are the old Ramsgate pictures. These didn’t copy as well as usual becase of my phone fail.

On to techno failure

I recently bought a new OUKITEL K6000 Pro the idea was to replace my, ageing 2011 Galaxy Note and it’s a case of I’m loving it apart from the camera which I can’t seem to just snap with and get reasonable results for the my blog.

The irony here is that I also bought the same phone for two of my children who find it excellent, but then they don’t blog and therefore when they take photos they are not lots of quick snaps like I take.

So here are the out and about photos, they will enlarge if clicked on. With the old phone there would have been perhaps one or two focus fails, but with the new one it’s about half of them, anyone know what I am doing wrong. Obviously when they come out right they are very good, so I think it must something I am doing wrong.

Finally the same old photos copied with my tablet which has a much lower speck camera

  1. I have seen this suggested elsewhere. Under settings/apps/camera - clear the Cache under storage.
You could also try another camera app as well the stock one, such as "A Better Camera" which you can try for free.

    1. Many thanks for that cranforduk it looks like a better camera app will solve all of my issues I'm experimenting on my test blog http://michaelstests.blogspot.co.uk/ and already getting much better results both wiht quick snap shots, setting the camrea on infinity and copying photos using macro

Comments, since I started writing this blog in 2007 the way the internet works has changed a lot, comments and dialogue here were once viable in an open and anonymous sense. Now if you comment here I will only allow the comment if it seems to make sense and be related to what the post is about. I link the majority of my posts to the main local Facebook groups and to my Facebook account, “Michael Child” I guess the main Ramsgate Facebook group is We Love Ramsgate. For the most part the comments and dialogue related to the posts here goes on there. As for the rest of it, well this blog handles images better than Facebook, which is why I don’t post directly to my Facebook account, although if I take a lot of photos I am so lazy that I paste them directly from my camera card to my bookshop website and put a link on this blog.
