  1. Mr Checksfield I note you still have me blocked on FB and I also see that you are prepared to meet to discuss stuff over tea or coffee. Does that apply to me?

    1. Why does Barry keep messaging people via here? Can't he contact them direct?

  2. Because nobody with any brains wants anything to do with James anon ;-)

  3. Why does John Hamilton keep posting on here? Can't he post things on his own web-site?

  4. Anonymous 5:16 am,

I find your statement odd. How would Barry James or indeed anyone else contact you direct?

  5. Anonymous 7:39 am,

I would like to post something to your web site. I should be grateful for a link to it.

    1. I haven't got one; however, Mr Checksfield has several, all with contact links.

In my experience you have no need to speak for Peter Checksfield. Peter is quite capable of handling things for himself. As you point out, Peter is open about his identity, as am I, whereas you choose to remain in the shadows. Why is that?

    3. When you have a site Anon, I will be more than happy to post on there for you. I suspect you will need the average IQ raising :)

What are your contact details Anon?

    4. And where are your contact details Hamilton? There's no point in trying to take the moral high ground here. You post using a pseudonym. Nobody knows who you really are. In my view that actually makes you worse than the anonymous posters. At least they are being honest: "I don't wish to reveal my identity."

  6. This is why I rarely visit the local blogs these days... I'm as fed up as everyone else with the same few people (anonymous and otherwise) squabbling over trivialities. As for facebook, I've blocked dozens of people on there (and I wish I could do the same here!).

  7. So Peter your offer to have a tea or coffee is only to an exclusive set of people?

    1. And why not, would you have tea or coffee with just anybody?

    2. They both use their real names (I think?) so there is some common ground for a start. I couldn't use my real name...I would be so ashamed!

    3. Anonymous 1:50 pm,

I would have tea or coffee with anyone, providing they were paying. Are you offering?

    4. Of course you would John. Those empty days to fill waiting for next months pension. Maybe an old RAF plane. The ticking clock on the mantelpiece. There's always the blogs to whine on about yesteryear though.

    5. Anonymouse 3:43 pm,

I ask again, are you offering? It would be a good opportunity to discuss me and you. Or do you prefer to remain hidden behind your net curtains spitting at passers by.

    6. I'd open the window before doing so John as I'm sure you would. Twitching the net curtains has no doubt been surpassed by you for the joys of your drab views and insults provided to all and sundry on the blogs. Your offer of a vaccum flask of tea, coffee or cocoa is gladly declined. Back to planespotting at RAF Manston for you.

    7. Anonymouse 6:22 pm,

That was a lacklustre repost from you. I do not insult all and sundry, it's just you. You make me believe in reincarnation because nobody can be as stupid as you in one lifetime.

    8. riposte ? Flimsy evidence for the existence of reincarnation. The other JH will be along shortly to inform you that you have "No proof".

  10. Are the people posting on this board for real ? It's like an new edition of Vizz:

There's Porno Pete who longs to be one of the beautiful people, Hoary Hamilton who can't control his mouth and Horrible Holyer who is abusive to everyone.

    1. Anon 11:39 pm,

And then there is you - you who has taken stupidity to new heights. It would take you five minutes to boil a three minute egg. You who knows so little and knows it so fluently. You are the last in God's great chain, unless there is an earwig around here that you'd like to victimise.

    2. I rest my case.

    3. New heights and five minutes to boil a three minute egg. Altitude and boiling point of water implications from the science dabbling Holyer. Outstanding.

  11. Michael, its not the cliff you've got a problem with, it's the council. Every problem in the area always comes back to the council.

    1. Change of strategy. If campaigning, to get something safe built, isn't working. Then campaign to stop anything unsafe being built. I suspect this is being successful and that Shaun may be cottoning on that his acquisition of the devaluing site was a folly.

So TDC may be best advised to do nothing. Not too difficult Ms McG.

Please note comments that may be libellous, comments that may be construed as offensive, anonymous derogatory comments about real people, comments baiting internet trolls, comments saying that an anonymous comment was made by a named real person, boring comments and spam comments, comments in CAPs will be deleted. Playground stuff like calling real people by their time stamp or surname alone, referring to groups as gangs, old duffers and so on will result in deletion. Comment that may be construed as offensive to minority groups is not allowed here either, so think before you write it, remember that the internet is a public place, that it is very difficult to be truly anonymous and that everyone who uses it leaves a trail of some sort. Also note the facility to leave anonymous comment will be turned of during periods when I am unable to monitor comment, this will not affect people commenting who are signed on to their blogger accounts. When things are particularly difficult on the commercial spam front I may turn comment moderation on for periods.

If you feel that someone has left a comment that is offensive and directed at you personally please email me (link on the sidebar) asking to have it removed, you will need to tell which post and the date and timestamp of the offending comment. Please do not reply to the offending comment as I will assume you continuing the dialogue as meaning that you want the comments left there.
