Comments, since I started writing this blog in 2007 the way the internet works has changed a lot, comments and dialogue here were once viable in an open and anonymous sense. Now if you comment here I will only allow the comment if it seems to make sense and be related to what the post is about. I link the majority of my posts to the main local Facebook groups and to my Facebook account, “Michael Child” I guess the main Ramsgate Facebook group is We Love Ramsgate. For the most part the comments and dialogue related to the posts here goes on there. As for the rest of it, well this blog handles images better than Facebook, which is why I don’t post directly to my Facebook account, although if I take a lot of photos I am so lazy that I paste them directly from my camera card to my bookshop website and put a link on this blog.
Mr Checksfield I note you still have me blocked on FB and I also see that you are prepared to meet to discuss stuff over tea or coffee. Does that apply to me?
ReplyDeleteWhy does Barry keep messaging people via here? Can't he contact them direct?
DeleteBecause nobody with any brains wants anything to do with James anon ;-)
ReplyDeleteWhy does John Hamilton keep posting on here? Can't he post things on his own web-site?
ReplyDeleteAnonymous 5:16 am,
ReplyDeleteI find your statement odd. How would Barry James or indeed anyone else contact you direct?
Anonymous 7:39 am,
ReplyDeleteI would like to post something to your web site. I should be grateful for a link to it.
I haven't got one; however, Mr Checksfield has several, all with contact links.

DeleteIn my experience you have no need to speak for Peter Checksfield. Peter is quite capable of handling things for himself. As you point out, Peter is open about his identity, as am I, whereas you choose to remain in the shadows. Why is that?
When you have a site Anon, I will be more than happy to post on there for you. I suspect you will need the average IQ raising :)
DeleteWhat are your contact details Anon?
And where are your contact details Hamilton? There's no point in trying to take the moral high ground here. You post using a pseudonym. Nobody knows who you really are. In my view that actually makes you worse than the anonymous posters. At least they are being honest: "I don't wish to reveal my identity."
DeleteSo Peter your offer to have a tea or coffee is only to an exclusive set of people?
ReplyDeleteAnd why not, would you have tea or coffee with just anybody?
DeleteThey both use their real names (I think?) so there is some common ground for a start. I couldn't use my real name...I would be so ashamed!
DeleteAnonymous 1:50 pm,
DeleteI would have tea or coffee with anyone, providing they were paying. Are you offering?
Of course you would John. Those empty days to fill waiting for next months pension. Maybe an old RAF plane. The ticking clock on the mantelpiece. There's always the blogs to whine on about yesteryear though.
DeleteAnonymouse 3:43 pm,
DeleteI ask again, are you offering? It would be a good opportunity to discuss me and you. Or do you prefer to remain hidden behind your net curtains spitting at passers by.
I'd open the window before doing so John as I'm sure you would. Twitching the net curtains has no doubt been surpassed by you for the joys of your drab views and insults provided to all and sundry on the blogs. Your offer of a vaccum flask of tea, coffee or cocoa is gladly declined. Back to planespotting at RAF Manston for you.
DeleteAnonymouse 6:22 pm,
DeleteThat was a lacklustre repost from you. I do not insult all and sundry, it's just you. You make me believe in reincarnation because nobody can be as stupid as you in one lifetime.
riposte ? Flimsy evidence for the existence of reincarnation. The other JH will be along shortly to inform you that you have "No proof".
Deleteanon 7:23 that will only happen if I post. Hammy is somewhat single celled oops minded
Deleteanon 7:23 pm,
DeleteYou're correct, I should intended to say riposte.
oh dear. Get a grip of your blog Michael.
ReplyDeleteAre the people posting on this board for real ? It's like an new edition of Vizz:
ReplyDeleteThere's Porno Pete who longs to be one of the beautiful people, Hoary Hamilton who can't control his mouth and Horrible Holyer who is abusive to everyone.
Anon 11:39 pm,
DeleteAnd then there is you - you who has taken stupidity to new heights. It would take you five minutes to boil a three minute egg. You who knows so little and knows it so fluently. You are the last in God's great chain, unless there is an earwig around here that you'd like to victimise.
New heights and five minutes to boil a three minute egg. Altitude and boiling point of water implications from the science dabbling Holyer. Outstanding.
DeleteAnonymouse 1:01 pm,
DeleteThank you.
Michael, its not the cliff you've got a problem with, it's the council. Every problem in the area always comes back to the council.
ReplyDeleteChange of strategy. If campaigning, to get something safe built, isn't working. Then campaign to stop anything unsafe being built. I suspect this is being successful and that Shaun may be cottoning on that his acquisition of the devaluing site was a folly.
DeleteSo TDC may be best advised to do nothing. Not too difficult Ms McG.
