Pinch and a punch it’s the first of the month

The answer is 42 as I didn’t think sites that had less than 10 referrals to this site needed including.

If you don’t understand this post, my apologies and if you think you understand it...

As the day progresses I will try to write something coherent about the state of Thanet blogging here, but at the moment I am stuck into the fishing smack book.

  1. As I said in the post Peter, if you think you understand it…

Something you did, something google did, whatever it is Naked in Thanet isn’t in the first hundred, but comes here:

    139. nakedinthanet.blogspot.co.uk / referral 1 2.00 00:01:36 100.00% 0.00%

Personally I have never trusted any of the statistics related to the popularity of websites.

The stats for this site on the blogger dashboard read; 5,027 people visited this site
    Visits11,083 Unique Visitors 5,027 Pageviews 21,205 Pages / Visit 1.91 Avg. Visit Duration 00:04:00 Bounce Rate 64.52% % New Visits 39.31%.

Comparing these with yours may tell you something.

It is also worth considering that google have completely changed the way their search engine works by rewriting the basic script.

  2. I have dropped out as Peter I very rarely check my stats maybe I need to revamp the site. I think I have lost my enthusiasm for blogging

Comments, since I started writing this blog in 2007 the way the internet works has changed a lot, comments and dialogue here were once viable in an open and anonymous sense. Now if you comment here I will only allow the comment if it seems to make sense and be related to what the post is about. I link the majority of my posts to the main local Facebook groups and to my Facebook account, “Michael Child” I guess the main Ramsgate Facebook group is We Love Ramsgate. For the most part the comments and dialogue related to the posts here goes on there. As for the rest of it, well this blog handles images better than Facebook, which is why I don’t post directly to my Facebook account, although if I take a lot of photos I am so lazy that I paste them directly from my camera card to my bookshop website and put a link on this blog.
