I managed to find higher definition wosisnames, computer
thingys of the old aerial photos of Ramsgate, viewed on my blog, if you click
on them to expand them and then click on them again so they get even bigger.
The rest, you should be able to work out the approximate
what and when, feel free to comment on them and I will try to reply if it seems
the right thing to do.
Here in the book business there are mostly two types of
books, the sewed ones, where the pages are held in by bookbinders thread and
the prefect bound ones where the edges of the pages are suck in with glue.
In both cases when you get a new book or a book that hasn’t been
used for a long time following these rather finicky instructions do actually
help produce a more flexible and even curve in the spine, something that helps
the book to last longer and better - biblical or secular.
For the dedicated followers here are the books
that went on the shelves in my bookshop in Ramsgate today http://michaelsbookshop.blogspot.co.uk/2017/03/the-frackers-in-bookshop.html
