Pen and watercolour sketch of Ramsgate pretty much done but this is a mostly a test post for another bit of cheap technology

Here is the Ramsgate pen and watercolour sketch, the cloud will have to wait until there is some cloud in the sky.

The technology bit is using  a cheap 8 inch tablet, the largest that goes in my pocket to write this blog post. This idea being that this is about the smallest device I can touch type on.

Part of this is a sort of experiment too on how much of my computing I can do on a computer that can be bought new for less than £100. I think this one was about £60 when Argos had them on special.

Ok this next bit this is written entirely using the voice command I'm not sure how well it will work but you can imagine how much easier it be if you could write blog this way full stop full stop full stop period full stop

Frankly it is remarkably accurate however punctuation is not easy comma you see what I mean.

Comments, since I started writing this blog in 2007 the way the internet works has changed a lot, comments and dialogue here were once viable in an open and anonymous sense. Now if you comment here I will only allow the comment if it seems to make sense and be related to what the post is about. I link the majority of my posts to the main local Facebook groups and to my Facebook account, “Michael Child” I guess the main Ramsgate Facebook group is We Love Ramsgate. For the most part the comments and dialogue related to the posts here goes on there. As for the rest of it, well this blog handles images better than Facebook, which is why I don’t post directly to my Facebook account, although if I take a lot of photos I am so lazy that I paste them directly from my camera card to my bookshop website and put a link on this blog.
