  1. Congratulations I assume Roger Gale has not been invited

  2. Not sure this is a good career move for the Turner, unless they are hoping to attract crowds from Brighton, and I shall certainly be striking it off my summer visits list.

  3. I live in Birchington and as yet I have not visited The Turner. If this does happen I never will.

  4. anon 03:55 I doubt you were awake that early planing a visit to the Turner. I dont think it will affect Thanet in any way. If Gay Marraige becomes law the Turner wont be the only place and dont forget if you are straight and they get a licence you can marry there so dont use this as an excuse not to visit, admit it you were never going to anyway.

    1. So? I was born in Westminster, but after living in Thanet / Herne Bay for the past 27 years I regard the place as my home.

Comments, since I started writing this blog in 2007 the way the internet works has changed a lot, comments and dialogue here were once viable in an open and anonymous sense. Now if you comment here I will only allow the comment if it seems to make sense and be related to what the post is about. I link the majority of my posts to the main local Facebook groups and to my Facebook account, “Michael Child” I guess the main Ramsgate Facebook group is We Love Ramsgate. For the most part the comments and dialogue related to the posts here goes on there. As for the rest of it, well this blog handles images better than Facebook, which is why I don’t post directly to my Facebook account, although if I take a lot of photos I am so lazy that I paste them directly from my camera card to my bookshop website and put a link on this blog.
