Broadstairs, quick stop to buy folk week fridge magnet
I am reading the Michelle Paver series Chronicles of Ancient Darkness
I am listening to the Simone DeBeauvoir book The Second Sex. I sort of overcame this by a bit of subterfuge that may be useful to you. The book itself and the audiobook are both behind about £20 pay walls however there is a text version on archive, here is the link https://archive.org/stream/1949SimoneDeBeauvoirTheSecondSex/1949_simone-de-beauvoir-the-second-sex_djvu.txt and by downloading @voice aloud reader app it is possible to import the whole book using the URL this is done by tapping on the top left icon in the app.
You then have to scroll down past a load of coding introductions etc to get to the beginning of the book and then the thing will read it aloud to you, keep the place you were at when you close the app so once you've started it by double tapping on the screen you essentially have a free read or listen.

Comments, since I started writing this blog in 2007 the way the internet works has changed a lot, comments and dialogue here were once viable in an open and anonymous sense. Now if you comment here I will only allow the comment if it seems to make sense and be related to what the post is about. I link the majority of my posts to the main local Facebook groups and to my Facebook account, “Michael Child” I guess the main Ramsgate Facebook group is We Love Ramsgate. For the most part the comments and dialogue related to the posts here goes on there. As for the rest of it, well this blog handles images better than Facebook, which is why I don’t post directly to my Facebook account, although if I take a lot of photos I am so lazy that I paste them directly from my camera card to my bookshop website and put a link on this blog.
