Pictures of Ramsgate, Belgian Cafe New Look and a ramble

Some New Look pictures for the record. I thought I had better get some as New Look in Ramsgate is likely to close and there may suddenly be no further opportunity

When it's Gone it's Gone

So next some of the Belgian Cafe, the only way to have got decent photos of the inside would have been a dslr and flash unit and I don't think I ever did that.

I may have a lot on file somewhere or may have deleted them so it's really down to ones I put online and can find using Google.

 Photos sketches anything capture it?

Pictures should expand if clicked on repeatedly

I suppose I am thinking about what makes a picture, painting or photo in some sense meaningful, there is an area here which is about including people, I don't think anyone would want a portrait of someone other that imitate family on the wall, and yet there is an area where including people makes the picture, even if you don't know them.

You had better see this post as still the writing and I will probably add to it

Bookshop wise this is the link to the books we put out today

Wetherspoons this evening for us, I miss the Belgian Cafe as it was a while ago although not so much how it was towards the end.

Comments, since I started writing this blog in 2007 the way the internet works has changed a lot, comments and dialogue here were once viable in an open and anonymous sense. Now if you comment here I will only allow the comment if it seems to make sense and be related to what the post is about. I link the majority of my posts to the main local Facebook groups and to my Facebook account, “Michael Child” I guess the main Ramsgate Facebook group is We Love Ramsgate. For the most part the comments and dialogue related to the posts here goes on there. As for the rest of it, well this blog handles images better than Facebook, which is why I don’t post directly to my Facebook account, although if I take a lot of photos I am so lazy that I paste them directly from my camera card to my bookshop website and put a link on this blog.
