2 Mystery Thanet Streets, Sunday's answers and some sort of ramble

 Q1 Which Thanet Street

Q2 Which Thanet St

I have had a bit of a lazy day today

I moved my desk in the living room so I am next to the window and plan to grow some seedlings in the window, I'm not good with natural history so I'm not expecting much.

The light is different and I have been fiddling about trying to find the best place to copy photos

Sunday's answers

nobody came up with where this was taken from and as I don't know it remains a mystery.

this is a diode valve, unusual as it only has three wires, the heater doubling a s a cathode.

Here is another unusual electronic component
for anyone who wants to guess what it is.

 tonight's moon out the window

Pretty much a straight run for a month of the UK having the worst death rates per capita of any of the main first world countries.

From Simon Crow
Latest C-19 Death Rates by Country
NOTE:
1. This is daily deaths per ten million residents, counting from the day of first reported death
2. Trend is a 7-day moving average
While I have great respect and admiration for the the frontline doctors and nurses, as institutions the NHS and DoH are pretty bad.

Comments, since I started writing this blog in 2007 the way the internet works has changed a lot, comments and dialogue here were once viable in an open and anonymous sense. Now if you comment here I will only allow the comment if it seems to make sense and be related to what the post is about. I link the majority of my posts to the main local Facebook groups and to my Facebook account, “Michael Child” I guess the main Ramsgate Facebook group is We Love Ramsgate. For the most part the comments and dialogue related to the posts here goes on there. As for the rest of it, well this blog handles images better than Facebook, which is why I don’t post directly to my Facebook account, although if I take a lot of photos I am so lazy that I paste them directly from my camera card to my bookshop website and put a link on this blog.
