In the past I have tried to post some sort of local school
GCSE results table when the results are published. This year, while the results
were published on the UK Government website I seem to be more stupid or it’s
more difficult to understand.
Finally got something to work right at the bottom of this post and have no intention of writing anywhere near it in case it makes it go wrong. Here is the link to the government website https://www.compare-school-performance.service.gov.uk/schools-by-type?step=phase®ion=886&geographic=la&phase=secondary
This Progress 8 Score I think may be to education what Carl Andre's Equivalent 8 is to sculpture

My day was spent bookbuying in Herne Bay and Canterbury, I
took a few photos and in seat of the pants copy and paste to my website, this
is basically what’s on my camera card http://www.michaelsbookshop.com/118l/id6.htm
Anyway the old local pictures next and anyone who wants any further
thoughts well they may be at the end.
The old photos aren’t that easy to work out either.

Comments, since I started writing this blog in 2007 the way the internet works has changed a lot, comments and dialogue here were once viable in an open and anonymous sense. Now if you comment here I will only allow the comment if it seems to make sense and be related to what the post is about. I link the majority of my posts to the main local Facebook groups and to my Facebook account, “Michael Child” I guess the main Ramsgate Facebook group is We Love Ramsgate. For the most part the comments and dialogue related to the posts here goes on there. As for the rest of it, well this blog handles images better than Facebook, which is why I don’t post directly to my Facebook account, although if I take a lot of photos I am so lazy that I paste them directly from my camera card to my bookshop website and put a link on this blog.
