Old Photos Ramsgate Madeira Walk area and Margate Lifeboat related

I will try and caption the pictures a bit if I get time later.

I skived off to the Pav aka Spoons for a fair part of today, partly to catch up with what was once called paperwork but is now connected to emails.

I suppose because of the mobile internet revolution we must have the highest levels of literacy ever. Back in the day when I was a mechanic of sorts, in the shop floor tool downing area there used to be a lot of get the charge hand to write it out, now it's thumbs to the phone.

With me I can't spell well at all due to being disabled as a child and missing a lot of the the spelling and grammar that you learn at primary school, so I used to keep a fairly low profile until the technology arrived.

i did do bites to various sketches inbetween asitwere
This one started when i was sitting in the middle of the octagon part of the roof and I had vaguely thought of filling in the the foreground, by painting the bits you can't see from there by changing seats, so it's going down. Turning into something you couldn't take a photo of which was the intention.

The light was going when I went for my evening walk, so not many photos

here is the link to them

Comments, since I started writing this blog in 2007 the way the internet works has changed a lot, comments and dialogue here were once viable in an open and anonymous sense. Now if you comment here I will only allow the comment if it seems to make sense and be related to what the post is about. I link the majority of my posts to the main local Facebook groups and to my Facebook account, “Michael Child” I guess the main Ramsgate Facebook group is We Love Ramsgate. For the most part the comments and dialogue related to the posts here goes on there. As for the rest of it, well this blog handles images better than Facebook, which is why I don’t post directly to my Facebook account, although if I take a lot of photos I am so lazy that I paste them directly from my camera card to my bookshop website and put a link on this blog.
