Margate and Ramsgate photos, click on them to expand again

update

Michael Cates That's a fantastic photo of "Old Trafford" AKA "Reliant" which was for many years displayed inside the National Maritime Museum at Greenwich. The museum cut her up to make room for a cafe or something ...Ramsgate Lifeboat "Prudential" in the background.

I have been bookbuying and painting in Canterbury all day and so not much to say.

link to photos of the books that went out yesterday

On to my own day and recording aspects of it for me, very much in the sense of having existed today if I try to look back on it from the future - in the sense of perhaps having been alive and done something. This link takes you my March blog posts for 2014 and there is much less that I can relate to than I would like and this one to today's date 5 years ago. I wish I had taken a picture of my lunch or something that would help jog my memory.

To be honest though I think it is little notebook sketches that would do the trick.

Comments, since I started writing this blog in 2007 the way the internet works has changed a lot, comments and dialogue here were once viable in an open and anonymous sense. Now if you comment here I will only allow the comment if it seems to make sense and be related to what the post is about. I link the majority of my posts to the main local Facebook groups and to my Facebook account, “Michael Child” I guess the main Ramsgate Facebook group is We Love Ramsgate. For the most part the comments and dialogue related to the posts here goes on there. As for the rest of it, well this blog handles images better than Facebook, which is why I don’t post directly to my Facebook account, although if I take a lot of photos I am so lazy that I paste them directly from my camera card to my bookshop website and put a link on this blog.
