  1. The first pics I have seen of the wind-farm bases from Viking Bay. Saw them with naked eye-ball just over a week ago. With the main trunk and sails fitted and all in glorious brilliant white, these are going to make a huge visual impact on the sea scape viewed from Broadstairs.

Is TV Bond still open? During my 25 years in the local electricity industry it was THE place you went to get something when all other avenues had completely failed. You'd ask for some obscure tool, fitting or adaptor and he'd go out the back and come back with an old box which he rattled around inside and Bob's your uncle - there it was - that object that everyone else in the world stopped stocking decades ago.
Absolute magic - both wonderful and mysterious and hungover from a bygone age!

  4. Wind farms are only part of our secure electricity supply, Coal/nuclear/and tidal are all important to us as a nation. As for shopping at TV Bond, not for me always too expensive,

  5. I have seen in the past, drain covers in Thanet with TV Bond written on them. I wonder how old they are
